Buon Giorno!
I'm very excited to announce that I have been accepted
into a study program in Florence, Italy at the Angel
Academy of Art!
I will be gone from January through April, but can be
contacted at my new e-mail address ashleecomerford@gmail.com,
or by phone at (970) 481-1442. I will still be taking on
commissions while there as well.
In more very exciting news, will be featured in
March 2012 edition of Southwest Art Magazine! Look for
me as the artist to watch.

I Kissed David
Leffel, and I liked It!!!!!!
From September 7 to 11, 2011 I had the privilege of
attending The American Artist’s Weekend with the Masters
Workshop and Conference, in Monterey.
The quality of the instruction,
and the overall experience exceeded my wildest
expectations. There was even a bonus salutation from
David Leffel (pictured) whom I have long admired.
I can already see the positive
impact my participation in the Workshop has had on my
work beginning with how I approach each painting. My
special thanks to the following masters for sharing

Please look for Ashlee in the April edition of
American Art Collector. The magazine is running a special
Epicurean Feature and, based upon her success with the Labor of
Love Series, invited her to participate.

Happy New Year everyone; I hope you and all you hold

We’re off to another exciting start in 2011: on February 8th I
will be attending a reception hosted by Colorado Lt. Governor
Joseph Garcia honoring artists featured in the Creative Capitol:

was awarded 2nd
place in the 2010 American
Impressionist
Society National Juried Exhibition Show.
C.W. Mundy, one of the foremost artists in
America,
with Ashlee, giving Labor of Love a big
“thumbs-up”.
The painting was also selected as the first piece displayed in
the October
Edition of Southwest Art Magazine, which is running a full
feature on the Show:

Ashlee recently won several
awards, including
"Professional Reserved Champion" at the 2010 Glenwood Springs Fall Art Festival,
and first and second place in the Professional Oil Painters Figurative category.

2010 issue of American Art Collector under "sold" pieces.
Ashlee was also recently chosen by The American Impressionist Society
to participate in the NATIONAL JURIED fall exhibition to be held in
Nashville, TN at the prestigious Richland Fine Art Gallery from October
7th to November 3rd and will be featured in a special exhibit section of the
October issue of Southwest Art magazine. Please look for

am thrilled to announce my appearance in the May Edition (# 55) of American Art
Collector Magazine.
American Art Collector is widely
considered as the premier source for both established and
 “up-and-coming”
artists. It is distributed to some 120,000+ collectors and galleries throughout
North America. It is also available in numerous bookstores including Barnes and
Noble in the USA, and Chapters in Canada.
I will be featured in both the
“artist focus” section (near the back of the magazine) as well as in the
advertising section at the front.
